MATT EDEWAARD
My name is Matthew, and I’ve been tattooing for nearly 20 years. In addition to tattooing, I’ve worked as an artist, illustrator, and tattoo consultant for film and television. You may recognize some of my work from the 2026 film The Furious or Chris Pratt’s The Terminal List series, where I’ve created artwork, background designs, promotional pieces, and tattoos for actors and characters.
I specialize in “illustrative realism,” but I’m experienced in multiple styles, like fine-line, Japanese traditional, American traditional, and neo-traditional, all of which I’ve incorporated into my primary style from working in street shops in Oregon for many years. I also specialize in cover-ups, as well as fixing existing work.
I do not charge deposits and typically use a “good faith” booking system, as well as offer free consultations. You are only charged for the time the needle hits the skin. So, if you book three hours and we spend two hours planning and going over the design, but we only tattoo for one hour, it’s no big deal! You’re only charged for that one hour.
I’m currently $200 an hour, and I haven’t changed my rates for six years because I want to stay accessible to people from different lifestyles, allowing them to afford high-quality work without breaking the bank.
Take a look through my portfolio, and if you think my work is a good fit for what you have in mind, I’d love to hear your ideas!
